Yesterday a girl from UNC Charlotte was found dead near her car. I didn’t know her, but I’ve met her. From what I hear from her friends and from what I’ve seen of her she seemed like an extremely nice person. It seems like all these decent young people are dying. What the hell? A girl I knew freshman year killed herself last year. My friend Mandeep Gill’s sister was murdered by her husband. The student body president was shot dead at UNC. And there’s also Kyle Fleischmann who went missing in November, and statistical chances are he’s not alive anymore. I hope they can at least find his body so his family can get some solace.

Why are all the people we hear about dying good people? It’s horrible to say, but for once couldn’t a headline could read, “worthless piece of shit that everyone hates shot in the face,” or, “Idiot douche-bag who would never shut up, finally shuts up.” It seems like too many decent people are dying around here. I’m speechless, this just sucks.

Edit: I also forgot to mention a couple of friends who died from Anson County. My friend Seab Pope who shot himself, and Blake Freeman who was killed while looking at a still active (he didn’t know, it shouldn’t have been) piece of military surplus. Two other good souls taken before their time.
