What’s Going on?

OK, I’m sure there are horrible people out there that upon hearing about what they have done or intend to do we would without a doubt torture them ourselves because of the horrors they would perform. But when your government has the power to retain you for the slightest reason and deny you your rights as a human, then ship you off somewhere to be tortured for 10 months, this is ridiculous. Anyone who is deemed a “threat” to the US government can be labeled a terrorist. Such people can include activists, and a lot of times peaceful people. It is the people’s rights to choose there government, and if they do not approve of there government, to rebel against or protest that government. Meanwhile we just lovingly hand these rights over and ignore them. Take a gander at this, a personal account of a man wrongly accused of having ties with terrorists who was randomly taken, flown to Syria to be tortured, and was not allowed to contact his family for months.
